Office Watch · Effective October 13, 2026

Office Watch is developed by Diga & Chella’s LLC. This policy describes the current Mac app and how to contact us about privacy.

What the app records

Office Watch uses your Mac’s camera for preview and motion detection. With Record Motion Clips enabled, it saves silent video clips when motion is detected, including your selected time before and after motion. It does not record microphone audio.

When monitoring works

The camera starts when you choose to monitor, or when your enabled idle and delay settings activate it. Office Watch must remain running with the Mac awake and the user session active. It does not override macOS Lock Screen or promise monitoring while locked or asleep.

Where recordings are stored

Motion analysis and video recording take place locally on this Mac. Office Watch does not upload camera video, clips, or motion data to a server or third party, and does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking tools. Copies you make outside the app follow that location’s sharing and backup settings.

Your control

You can stop monitoring, review or delete clips, and copy footage from the recordings folder. Camera permission is controlled in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera. Photos permission is requested only when you choose Save to Photos; exported copies follow your Photos and iCloud Photos settings. Acknowledging this notice does not start the camera or enable recording.

Retention and security

Saved clips remain until you delete them or an optional Storage setting removes them. Scheduled deletion and low-storage cleanup are off by default. Low-storage cleanup may delete the oldest clips before their scheduled date. Unsaved rolling footage is temporary and discarded on normal stop. Clips use normal macOS account and app sandbox protections; optional protection uses Touch ID or your Mac account password for in-app access to recordings and stopping the clock. It does not encrypt video files or prevent force-quitting the app.

Important recording notice

Recording, privacy and consent requirements vary by location and circumstance. You are responsible for following applicable laws, workplace and property rules, and any required notice or consent obligations. Use Office Watch only where you are permitted to record. Do not record people in private areas or situations where they reasonably expect privacy.

Support and this website

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to respond and provide support. Correspondence is handled through Gmail and retained as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable obligations. Contact us to request deletion, subject to applicable legal requirements.

This website has no advertising, analytics scripts, contact forms, or embedded recordings. Its hosting provider may process technical request information to deliver and secure the site. This is separate from the app’s local camera processing.

Photos exports and deletion

Clips saved to Photos follow your Photos and iCloud Photos settings. Deleting an Office Watch clip does not delete its exported copy. Manage copies separately in Photos or wherever you copied them.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app changes; the effective date identifies the current version. For privacy questions or deletion requests about information sent to us, contact Diga & Chella’s LLC at digachellasLLC@gmail.com. We cannot remotely access or delete clips stored only on your Mac.
