What you need.
- Software: iOS 17 or later.
- Device: An iPhone that supports iOS 17 or later, with a working front camera for motion recording. This release is designed for iPhone.
- Permissions: Camera access for preview and monitoring; Photos access only to save a selected clip. The optional alarm uses notification permission.
- Protection: Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode, as supported by your iPhone. Set a device passcode to use protected recordings.
- Storage: Free space for video clips; usage varies with activity and clip settings. Review storage and deletion settings before extended use.
Keep the app open, the iPhone unlocked, and the camera unobstructed. Connect to power for extended monitoring. Camera recording does not continue in the background or while locked. Internet is not required for local clock and recording features; online policies and email support require a connection.
